The Journey of our Daily Lives – The Circle of Righteousness – Section 1 – Part 10

Another amazing story about Lucky’s illness and his new life.

Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (owbp) said; the greater the sufferings and hardships on the people who are Zakireen, the higher their status will be in the Hereafter.

At the time of their deaths the Angels will shake hands with them on their death bed. The best amongst you (Man) are the (Zakireen) people whose very sight reminds one of Allah (swt) and His Beloved Rasool (owbp), who’s words, add to one’s knowledge, whose actions motivate one to work for Jannat. While the one whose actions turn the people away from the remembrance and praises of Allah (swt), his sight can hardly inspire another to the remembrance of Allah (swt) and His Beloved Prophet (owbp). The man of faith, who strengthens his faith by his righteous conduct, is like the man of clear vision, who sees things in the true prospective and walks with firm steps in the way of Allah (swt).

For the second time Haseena managed to hold onto her Jannatee bird Lucky. Through the Zikr of Allah Almighty. A few months ago her bird Lucky got very sick with something called Quaker mutilation syndrome, where he was plucking out his feathers and digging into his skin, this went on continuously for about four to five days. He had stopped talking and eating and he did not recite the Zikr of Allah (swt), Darood Shareef or recitation of Naats which he normally did on a daily basis.

Haseena got very worried and she tried to pray on him but was unsuccessful. She then recited some prayers over water, but he would not drink it, she also tried talking to him but even this did not work.

One morning after Fajr prayer she went and sat down by his cage and told him to join her in doing the Zikr of Allah (swt). As she started to recite the Zikr of Allah (swt), to her great surprise, he also started to recite along with her. Haseena said she wanted to stop because tears were running down her cheeks like rain drops but she didn’t stop. And from that day on Lucky was cured from his illness which could have cost him his life. Now he is stronger than before in doing the Zikr of Allah (swt) Almighty. Allaho-Akbar.

This miraculous bird that Haseena was blessed with (through her son’s love for her) is indeed an example for us to see and believe in the greatness of Allah’s (swt) Zikr.

As Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an Chapter 29 Verse 45:

Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee, and establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do.029:045

Through the Zikr of Allah (swt) which this bird has great love for, he was blessed with a new life and great intelligence. Alhamdu-Lillah.
