The Journey of our Daily Lives – The Circle of Evil – Section 2 – Part 3

The evil seed that causes branches of conflict through a hidden disease

Adultery: the pitfall of one’s life

Allah (swt) says in the Holy Qur’an:

Nor come nigh to adultery: For it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils). 017:032

Literally it is evil as a road (or a way). Adultery is not only shameful in it’s self, and inconsistent with any self respect for others, it open the road to many evils. It destroy the basis of the family, it works against the inttn erest of children born or to be born: It may cause murders and feuds and loss of reputation, property and also loosen permanently the bonds of society. Not only should it be avoided as a sin, but any approach or temptation to it must be avoided.

The Holy Qur’an states:

The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment. 024:002

Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry and but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden. 024:003

And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;- 024:004

Adultery is an evil root with branches of conflict, corruption and blindness, which can lead people into the depth of darkness. If people choose to engage in adultery then adultery would be the pitfall of their lives. It would cause them to make many mistakes in life and the sins from it would contaminate their hearts, eyes, and tongues, which would now result into these people having evil eyes and evil tongue.

The sins from adultery is a formula of the Shaitan, which he himself and his soldiers would use to transform an adulterous man or woman’s behaviour into that of a fly, because flies like to feed off dirty things. The devil’s formula is like a poison mixed with sugar to attract and kill flies. The sugar is used to attract the flies and at the same time the poison is used to kill them. This implies the sins from the sexual relationships that occur from adultery are the sugar and the attraction to the devil, and the poison is the root of evil which results in branches of conflict, corruption and blindness.

The adulterous men and women’s state of mind would always be degenerate, and destructive; they are discarded in the sight of Allah (swt) and considered a time bomb to other human beings. Their sinful blood would run through every vein in their bodies, and would contaminate every limb of their body, causing a hidden disease to cover their hearts. The pollution would spread to their eyes, and their tongues would be transformed into weapons that have magical powers of evil influences. Any sense of jealously, envy and hatred would trigger this weapon of magical force off, which is the evil eyes and tongue. Then the life of the victim(s) of the adulterous man or woman life would be disrupted and it would be very difficult for them to make any positive strides in life.

The adulterous man or woman’s conduct in their lives can lead them to many evil roads such as: black magic, magicians, witchcraft, mockery, hypocrisy and throwing their faults on others. Now what would become of their children? In what direction would they be able to steer their children? There is an old saying that goes: What ever falls from the head goes right onto the shoulders, which means good or bad consequences from parent’s actions sometimes falls onto their children. Some children would grasp their blessings while others would inherit their sins. Some children from adulterous parents are not likely to draw their parent’s sins and follow into their footsteps. The ones whose faith is weak and who are influenced by their parent’s crocodile tears are the ones likely to walk in their footsteps, but this does not necessarily mean that they would become adulterous. Their actions can be jealous, envious, hateful, fraudulent and arrogant. Their state of mind would always be in a state of confusion (like their parents) and like the action of the fly which I mentioned earlier.

A fly doesn’t know good from bad, it will land on anything, more than likely the rotten things, therefore spreading its disease. Allah (swt) would protect the righteous children whose parents fall into the above category. He would move the righteous children away from their parent’s evil influences.

Example:
When leaves fall from a tree it usually gathers into a circle around its root, until the wind blows, then some would scatter away. This is how Allah (swt) would protect his faithful servants.

Meaning:
The children who are righteous steer away from their parent’s sins. These righteous children will feel a sense of dislike for their parents who are deep into the devil’s clutches, so by Almighty Allah’s will they will peacefully move away from their parents. As Allah mentioned in the Holy Qur’an:

Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party
of Allah, Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity. 058:022
