Follow these verses from the Holy Qur’an:
Here is a plain statement to men, a guidance and instruction to those who fear Allah. 3:138
So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. 3; 139
Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? 3:142
Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, 2:155
Those who believe, and suffer exile and strive with might and main, in Allah’s cause, with their goods and their persons, have the highest rank in the sight of Allah; they are the people who will achieve (salvation). 9:20
Their Lord doth give them glad tidings of a Mercy from Himself, of His good pleasure, and of gardens for them, wherein are delights that endure: 9:21
Trial and tribulations; it is all Allah (swt) testing as we observe from the above verses. To have good job that would help you with your material lively hood; you have to go through lots of hardship, to study for tests upon tests, trial upon trial, for a good education that would put you in a good paying job. Well in all the above verses from the Holy Qur’an tells us that we would have to go through Allah (swt) test and trial. The Holy Quran states:
Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? 3:142
Surely we would not enter His Kingdom until we go through His test, and only those of us, who sincerely pass His test, would get to enter Jannat and those who give up would be a big time loser.
Suffering is good for us, it help us to remember Allah (swt) often, as they say that fire is good for us and it is also bad and dangerous for us as well. Without fire we cannot eat, likewise without suffering we cannot enter Jannat. If we live all our lives as in the presence of Allah (swt), who is high above us and who watches over us all the time, we for sure will get His guidance. As the Holy Qur’an states:
Allah doth wish to lighten your (difficulties): For man was created Weak (in flesh). 4:28.
