It is the nature of evil to work underground, to hide from the light, to plot (and plan) against the righteousness: As the Holy Qur’an states:
If any do seek for glory and power,- to Allah belong all glory and power. To Him mount up (all) Words of Purity: It is He Who exalts each Deed of Righteousness. Those that lay Plots of Evil,- for them is a Penalty terrible; and the plotting of such will be void (of result). 35:10.
Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. To Us must ye return. 21:35.
The grater the suffering in a true believer life’s, the greater the reward spiritually, which helps him or her to overcome the hardest calamities or odds against him. As the Holy Qur’an states:
He granteth wisdom to whom He pleaseth; and he to whom wisdom is granted receiveth indeed a benefit overflowing; but none will grasp the Message but men of understanding. 2:269
If a person is gifted with wisdom and understanding, he is richer than a King in this world, and he would have enough wealth to buy himself a part of Allah’s (swt) Kingdom in the hereafter. And in the sight of mankind he is only suffering, but they cannot grasp his happiness, and his good pleasure is seeking his Lord face morning, noon and night during his suffering. The closer one try to get to Allah (swt) the hardest test, trial and tribulation, he would have to go through the temptation of Shaitan as well. Example: The higher one try to upgrade his education, the harder his test becomes upon him. As the Holy Qur’an states:
Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. 2:155.
Who say, when afflicted with calamity: “To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return”. 2:156.
They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance. 2:157
Alhamdu Lillah! These magnificent verses stand out clearly like a hill in a landscape enhancing the beauty of our view, and preparing us for the everyday tribulation and the cure for it (the tribulation). Let’s imagine what hard work it takes to beautify a mountain by a most magnificent landscape. This is exactly how Allah (swt) prepares His believing servants to strive hard against odds against them, and how wonderful is the reward here and in the hereafter. Our test, trial and tribulation help us to achieve patience, constancy and closeness to our Creator Allah (swt), what else do we want more than this!
