How can peace come into a family where there is always some conflict going on?

There are several ways to stop conflict; see the following examples:

1. One has to be aware of the people that he takes for his or her friends.
2. If one follows bad things, it would bring in the evil in the home and corruption would envelope that home.
3. Where there is jealously, pride and hatred, there will be conflict.
4. Weak faith is blindness, spiritually and materially, conflict comes through weakness.
5. Run away from taking responsibilities for one action, and throwing the blame on another for one’s actions can cause conflict in a family.
6. One possessed by the devil causes major feuds in a home.
7. Drinking, smoking, using bad words also cause feuds in a home, for it leads to ruin.
8. Coming home late at night in a home where one pray’s Tahajud Namaz (the late night prayer) brings in the bad Jinns and conflict starts between the good Jinns and the bad Jinns, corrupting that whole family and it would never stop (the feud).
9. Bad Jinns follow those who go to bad places at night (such as clubs, disco, parties etc.).
10. One’s own actions brought about their own destruction, and cause years and years of conflict.

Answer to question:

Insha Allah peace comes into one home who bewares of the 10 examples given above, also who follows these passages from the Holy Qur’an. As our Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (owbp) was a guide and exemplar amongst us (man), so we who are his followers ought to follow in his footsteps and follow those who are righteous. As the Holy Qur’an states:

And keep thy soul content with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face; and let not thine eyes pass beyond them, seeking the pomp and glitter of this Life; nor obey any whose heart We have permitted to neglect the remembrance of Us, one who follows his own desires, whose case has gone beyond all bounds. 18:28.

Our choice for peace or conflict is our own free will, also our choice in limited free will involves a corresponding personal responsibility. Allah (swt) tells us here in this verse, keep thy soul content with the company of the righteous (meaning for content) Cheerful, comfortable, and secure etc. How much more clearly do we want Allah (swt) to put it to us, where we can be able to achieve peace, love and unity inour homes and our surroundings (society). All we have to do is, if we have a pious head in our family, then we must follow the advice from that person, and as such peace will come to a corrupt life.

Peace, love and security, also bread’s from forgiveness, amendment, forget the past, live for the future, seek forgiveness from those who you feel hurt you in some ways: For those who stray from God Almighty path (due to holding anger inside of them and malice), God Almighty Grace is ever anxious to meet them, if they can only reach out to Him in true amendment and repentance; It seeks to reclaim them and bring them back to the right path.

If such one resists and follows his own lust, a point is reached when his case becomes hopeless: God Almighty Grace does not then reaches him, and he is abandoned to his pride and arrogance. One should beware of the following the example of such person. The Holy Qur’an states:

Say, “The truth is from your Lord”: Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it): for the wrong-doers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in: if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on! 18:29

.If a man and his wife decided to spread Islam with true sincerity (not for worldly show or fame) and true love for Allah (swt) and for His Prophets (pbut)for sure Shaitan will attack them and cause terrible conflict into their home, just to make them give up spreading Islam. As the parable goes: A thief only goes where there are wealth, while the Shaitan only attacks a home that is spiritually rich. A righteous conduct between a man and his wife breeds the Shaitan just as sugar breeds flies. As the Holy Qur’an states:

Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents that they may become Companions of the Blazing Fire. 35:6

Shaitan would stop at nothing but to drown a believer in his material wealth, when he cannot get to drain them from their spiritual wealth: They would go through all kinds of cruelty, insults and ridicule, and the only question that would be on their minds is: Are we the least near to our CreatorAllah (swt)? They are given the wisdom to understand the true test of progress in their spiritual life, is to be measured by other things than material wealth and influence. All worldly good and pleasure will past away like a shadow, its intrinsic and eternal value is small. The righteous (who suffered from injustice) and who work hard against the Shaitan attack, they are on a true path of self development, and Insha Allah the reward they will get be infinitely more than their merits entitle them to, for they will partake of the boundless Bounties of Allah (swt). As the Holy Qur’an states:

It is not your wealth nor your sons, that will bring you nearer to Us in degree: but only those who believe and work righteousness – these are the ones for whom there is a multiplied Reward for their deeds, while secure they (reside) in the dwellings on high! 34:37

Accept your mistakes, be just, and make amends and repentance will over ride conflict Insha Allah.
