Allah Almighty sent Angel Gabriel to pray all five Salat with the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) and at the same time He (Angel) was demonstrating the Salat with him (Prophet Muhammad owbp). Hadith.
So the muslims who are the true believers and followers of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), they learn how to pray from him, and as so it was passed down from generation to generation.
Our Beloved Prophet (pbuh) once looked at the moon on a beautiful full moon night and he said, certainly you will see your Lord as you see this moon, and you will have no trouble in seeing him. So if you can avoid missing your Salat before sunrise and before sunset you must do so . Whoever misses their Asir prayer (wilfully) all their good deeds will be lost.
One will enter Paradise who ever is in the habit of praying Asir and Fajr Namaz. If one says Ameen the Angels will say Ameen to his or her Ameen and that person’s sins will be forgiven.
